Robbie Elliot, former Newcastle United defender, is soon taking part in a mammoth cycling challenge in aid of the late Sir Bobby Robson. He will travel 3,500 miles in less than four weeks, which is 1,000 miles more than the Tour de France. He will start cycling from Lisbon, stopping off at every football club that Robson managed throughout his prestigious career including Porto, PSV Eindhoven, Barcelona, Ipswich, Fulham, before finishing in Newcastle on November 10.
The final leg of his journey leaves London, and he is encouraging people to join him for the final stretch of his challenge in Newcastle.
We wish him and his cycling partner Phil all the very best of luck during this epic journey!
