Sustrans’ and Skedaddle

Saddle Skedaddle are supporting Sustrans’ Free Range Kids campaign. Every child deserves to be free range, with the confidence, skills and knowledge to play outside and travel more safely, freely and independently around their local area.

The Free Range Kids pledge calls for the introduction of 20 miles per hour speed limits in residential areas and investment in walking and cycling routes, particularly around schools.

Skedaddle & Sustrans

As part of our commitment to promoting cycling and reducing our impact on the planet, Saddle Skedaddle are working with Sustrans to invest in reducing overall CO2 emissions generated by UK travel. We have introduced an optional supplement for all our holidays, so that you can now opt to donate to Sustrans and contribute towards improving sustainable transport and reducing carbon emissions in your everyday activities. In addition to your donations, for every mile a Skedaddle customer cycles on the National Cycle Network on one of our holidays we make a donation to Sustrans.

All of our holidays offer the option of our customers to donate a small amount to Sustrans, while many of our UK supported cycling holidays include our cyclists making donations directly to Sustrans, so not only are we supporting a great charity, but it also adds a huge sense of achievement to the guys who are riding!
