Cyclosportive Challenge 2012

Fancy a cycling challenge in October then set your sights on the The Wooler Wheel – a 100km Cycle Challenge taking place on 6th October 2012.

Starting and finishing in Wooler, the route takes in the River Till Valley, ascends the steep escarpment of the Fell Sandstone Ridge to reveal views of Holy Island and Lindisfarne Castle and then makes it’s way through picture postcard Ford to the northern outposts of the volcanic Cheviot Hills and the Tweed Valley.

We think this could be one of the most visually stunning rides of it’s kind in England, with superb views of the High Cheviots from many different aspects, views of the beautiful Northumberland coast and of the Eildon and Lammermuir Hills in Scotland.

Certainly a cycle ride to be remembered within beautiful Glendale, North Northumberland!!!

To register for the 100km and 50km Challenge click on the logo below.  Entry Fee £15.00 for the 100km and £10.00 for the 50km.   Entries are coming in thick and fast – already passed the 100th entrant!
