The Cycle Hub Café
Open 8:30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday/ Open 9am to 4pm Saturday and Sunday.
We have plenty of seating inside or join us on our outside terrace where there’s plenty of space to sit and enjoy your coffee and take in the best view down the river Tyne. And just in case you can’t hang around all our food and drinks are available to takeout.
All the food we cook here is made from scratch, ourselves. We serve food from 9am till 3pm Monday to Sunday. We offer daily changing Soup and made to order sandwiches, salads, and seasonal specials and a selection of delicious pastries and cakes.
Alongside our delicious homemade food we also sell a wide selection of hot and cold drinks. We serve great coffee; from local and national coffee roasters, alongside cold drinks including our freshly made Hub smoothies and iced teas and everything in between. We are fully licensed and have a fridge full of beer and cider from all over, from Brooklyn to the Ouseburn Valley.
Eat cake, drink coffee and ride your bike, is our motto, but don’t worry we aren’t just for cyclists. Whether you’re on two wheels, parked up on four wheels, out for a stroll, on your lunch break or just in need of your daily caffeine fix everyone is welcome. (Even dogs; yes we’re dog friendly).
We aim to source as much of our produce as we can from local suppliers and artisan producers, including from these lovely lot: Olivia’s Bakery, Emily Botham, Colour Coffee, Barbells and Beans, Acorn Dairy , Canny Milk, Thistly Cross Cider, Allendale Brewery and Newcastle Brewing Ltd.
